Vadal

The Vadal lands extend from the shores of the North Sea and the Mountains of Separation down to its southern borders, marked by the running of the Dale River, the Deepwater, and the confluence of the four rivers at the Grey. From east to west, the kingdom extends from the banks of the Deer River to a more nebulously location around the end of the Perbis Pedish. Despite the Vadal's warlike manner and desire for military expansion, they have never dared take more land west for fear of angering the Arkastanai. The Vadal are courageous but not foolhardy. Vadal pastures are the richest farmlands on Chronikos, save the Fihdal lands alone. The Vadal trade with the Arkastanai, the Men of Godswatch, the Tuhlen, and only a little with the Fihdal. Most peoples can travel relatively easily through the Vadal kingdom, but Fihdal citizens must have an approved passport, lest they be detained by the guard. Of course, such courtesy is also shown to Vadal citizens traveling in the Fihdal kingdom.
