Silver Mountains

The Silver Mountains are named such for an obvious reason: the plentitude of silver that might be mined there. Of course, the Dwarves claim all the earth's wealth that might be gleaned from the deep caves or the clear mountain streams that have been said to run with gold. The Dwarves collectively call their mountain homes the Karûl Mountains, and in particular, their largest mountain (which is also seat of the Dwarven King, the most powerful clans, and the location of their principal city, Duggenfeld) they call Tokabar, meaning "Black Mountain." The Dwarven King's dominion stretches across all the mountainous areas that border the Silbrios. The Larenai and the Dwarves trade heavily, for each sees the wisdom in exchanging goods. What the Elves craft, Dwarves would have no chance doing, and vice versa. Dwarven-crafted arms and armor designed to Elven specifications are highly sought-after items in the Silbrios. And Elven clothing, which is both supple, strong, and highly-resistant to damage, is something for which a dwarf would happily walk 50 miles. Foodstuffs are sold, gems and precious metals exchanged, and Morojai House benefits the most by performing the duties of a trade embassy. In addition to, or perhaps because of, their proclivity to trade heavily with each other, the Elves and Dwarves are staunch allies in wartime.
