Perbis Pedish
The Perbis Pedish, meaning "eastern border," signifies the mountains to the east of the Briën Amir. Originally the entire mountain chain, stretching from the headwaters of the Red Fish River (Gial Ursé Nivala) to its southern terminus in the northern lands of the Selgaté House, was called Perbis Pedish, and the Dal-Kalen still call it so today, but the Men who have come to dominance east of these mountains call them the Blue Elfin Mountains, for when they first beheld them on a summer's day, they seemed from afar through the haze to be blue. Men have, however, retained the name Perbis Pedish for the northern reaches of the mountain chain, from the headwaters of the Tineïl Gial to those of the Red Fish River. Beneath the Perbis Pedish live the Nayani, scattered throughout the numerous caverns and countless, maze-like subterranean tunnels. The land above ground is unpopulated, with only an autonomous homestead farmed by a very brave man found here and there. This is an area known for its Nohr activity.
